Do Now February 3, 2009
I usually judge books by how many pages and artwork on the cover. The book that caught my attention recently was Daddy’s Little Girl by Mary Higgins Clark. On the cover of this book is a gold locket on a leaf with droplets of blood. It is about a girl named Ellie whose testimony puts Rob Westerfield in jail. The words on the cover about the book reached out to me. However, it wasn’t the covers artwork or how many pages that caught my eye. The title reached out and grabbed me (because I am was definitely a daddy’s girl and still am even though my dad died and my mom got remarried).
